Trade with *iMonox! <3 She's such a sweetie, and her art is gorgeous, so go check out her art and give her a watch! Tried some new things with this piece, and I have mixed feelings about the outcome. Hope you like it! ;u;
I think that this picture has a great tone and shading to it. I really like how the fur is shaded. Anatomy wise I think the shoulder is a little too low on the right. The leg also just goes straight down maybe recheck the joints in the legs on a reference. And the muzzle needs adjustment to its angle though its pretty close. Overall i really like how neat the lineless is and the shading it really gives it a feel that the character is alive. I love the painting feel it has. The background looks great! And though usually i would advice more details i like it just how it is here. Some advice would be to perhaps look at animal refs and practice different poses as well as anatomy.
Well, this is my first critique, so please bear with me. First of all, the anotomy is very well done, I don't really see any problems with it. The fur looks very realistic itself, but the markings are kind of ruining that. Maybe try to match them with the shading a bit? The shading itself looks wonderful, but you might want to work on the eyes a little? Other than that, the tree branches in the background look a little like they were sawed off. Other than all this, the art itself looks wonderful! I'm out of words, so, bye!
Sorry, but I don't have a tutorial for it! ;n; Shading a lineless picture isn't too different from shading a picture with lines, though! I usually shade my lineless pictures by having the base colors set to a lower opacity so that I can see the sketch and then I shade the picture like you would shade a picture with lines! I'm also positive that you could find great tutorials here on dA that explain it much better than I ever could!
Some advice would be to perhaps look at animal refs and practice different poses as well as anatomy.
hope this helps (first critic)
